Chip stands in school buses are our favourite chip stands. The Earl Lake Motel Chip Stand (we’ve given it this name as no other name was given, and it’s parked next to the Earl Lake Motel) is on the northern side of Mattawa, ON. Cross-country travellers will no doubt be tempted to stop at this old-school (pun intended!) chip stand, since it is located right on Hwy. 17.
We gave this chip stand a high rating. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice and the visual appeal of the chip stand itself was top notch.
